What is the NEO Trusted Service Provider Program?

Aequitas NEO Exchange is pleased to join with service providers and advisors who are committed to focusing on the needs of NEO listed companies in order to champion public company success.

NEO Trusted Service Providers are recognized by Canadian capital markets participants as leading experts in corporate finance, cross-border listings, marketing, investor and issuer services.

How does Aequitas NEO Exchange identify potential NEO Trusted Service Providers?

We will review the application of any service provider who wants to be identified as a NEO Trusted Service Provider to confirm that the potential NEO Trusted Service Provider shares our high standards for client service. We will consider a number of factors in conducting our application review, including:

  • experience in Canadian capital markets (For example, number of deals, transaction size, and area of expertise);
  • approach to client service;
  • initiatives that demonstrate the applicant's commitment to innovation and the Canadian capital markets over the preceding three years;
  • third party testimonials; and
  • commitment to educational initiatives.

FAQs

Q. When can a firm or individual apply to be part of the NEO Trusted Service Provider Program?
A. We accept applications throughout the year.

Q. How long does it take for an application to be processed?
A. Approximately two weeks. A member of the Aequitas NEO Exchange Listings team will contact you to discuss your application.

Q. Once accepted as a NEO Trusted Service Provider, how frequently will the service provider's status be assessed against the evaluation criteria?
A. We will do a complete review of all NEO Trusted Service Providers on an annual basis unless special circumstances prompt an immediate review of the specific service provider.

Q. What happens if an application is rejected?
A. You can reapply six months after receiving notice that your application was rejected.

Q. Does a NEO Trusted Service Provider pay any fees or other amounts to Aequitas NEO Exchange in order to participate in the NEO Trusted Service Provider Program?
A. No. There are no requirements regarding application fees or arrangements for sharing revenue.

Q. Will a NEO Trusted Service Provider provide services to third parties on behalf of Aequitas NEO Exchange?
A. No. A NEO Trusted Service Provider will not act as an agent of Aequitas NEO Exchange and all services will be provided directly to the NEO Trusted Service Provider's client.

Participation in the NEO Trusted Service Provider Program is not a guarantee of a NEO Trusted Service Provider by Aequitas NEO Exchange.
